149 - Suit Up! Were going Down!
Verse 1
Well, the sun came up on a Monterey tide, Got my gear in the truck and a buddy by my side. We’re headin’ down the coast where the kelp beds sway, Ain’t nothin’ like divin’ in the Golden Bay! (Think: driving rhythm, acoustic guitar and harmonica intro) Chorus 🎶 Suit up, we’re goin’ down, To the blue beneath this Cali town! From the cliffs to Catalina’s crown, Suit up, we’re goin’ down! 🎶
Verse 2 —
“The Prep” First I grab my mask, keep the water out tight, Then the snorkel for the surface, till the bubbles take flight. Boots on my feet, fins on my toes, Got my gloves for the cold where the current flows. (Quick banjo or fiddle fills between each gear line — fun and punchy)
